Afro-hearts
Sanyu started this painting in early 2022. She had a love-and-hate relationship with the first concept and wanted to start all over. Her mom really loved the Afro/hair in the original painting.
Sanyu kept the hair and changed the color of the dress. Many of her paintings feature hearts so she added those here as well. Her favorite part was adding the spray paint to the piece.
